Vilma has been working in the music industry for more than 15 years. Starting as an intern at Music Export Lithuania/Music Information Centre, she later gained experience working as a culture manager at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim, Germany. After that, she was the music programme manager at one of the biggest music festivals in the Baltics (Be2gether).
Since 2016, Vilma is head of projects of the Lithuanian music business association, which seeks to facilitate education and export capacities of the local music industry and to promote its emerging talents abroad – here she manages the programme of the showcase festival and conference What's Next in Music?, is in charge of Lithuania's participation at international showcase festivals and represents the association at various international networks such as EMEE or European Talent Exchange. Since 2024, Vilma is also a board member of EMEE and was one of the co-founders and talent bookers of the YouTube music channel Sapiens Music.
