A native of Latvia, Tanya Korenika has established herself as a dynamic force in the Estonian alternative music scene, blending her entrepreneurial spirit with a profound academic foundation. As the founder and CEO of UCE Agency, Tanya has become a leading advocate for alternative music, with a particular focus on the metal genre. Her extensive expertise spans event production, tour booking, and artist management, with a special dedication to supporting local and Estonian alternative musicians.
Tanya holds a Master's degree in Culture Management from both the Estonian Business School and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Her current academic research interests are centred on gender equality initiatives in the Baltic region. Tanya is an active Keychange innovator, a global movement supporting the transformation of the music industry through diversity and inclusivity. She also stands as partner in the Baltic Artists In Development programme. Outside of her professional endeavours, Tanya expresses her artistic passion as a drummer in various alternative, hip-hop, and pop music projects, predominantly performing as a session musician.
