Keychange, Music and the Future: The Missing Voices

Friday 10 April at 12:1513:15 in Capella

Global music equity movement Keychange has issued its latest 2025 report, tracking intersectional gender equity indicators across the work and reporting of music industry actors worldwide. The Keychange Pledge Report 2025 highlighted a significant gap in reporting from diverse geographies and sectors — raising the question of whose voices are missing and who needs to be heard.

While the vast majority of key actors in the music industries are centred in Western Europe, the USA and Canada, this panel brings together music professionals taking an intersectional approach to interrogate the report's findings — asking how we can build more equitable musical landscapes, and how to deepen the understanding and practice of intersectional gender equity across the industry and beyond.
