Rana Bassil has been active in the Swiss music ecosystem for over thirteen years. She currently serves as the General Coordinator of Case à Chocs, a multidisciplinary music and cultural venue in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where she oversees operations and leads a broad team of cultural professionals.
She is also the President of PETZI, the Swiss federation of music venues and festivals, representing over 200 grassroots organisations nationwide. In 2024, she joined the Live DMA board, where her main areas of focus include HR and diversity.
Born and raised in Lebanon, Rana Bassil built her career in Europe, advocating for fair working conditions in the music sector, reducing structural barriers, and testing decolonial leadership approaches.
