Tapio Korjus has over 50 years of experience in music as an artist manager, running an indie label and as co-founder of Finnish music conference Music & Media. Rockadillo's artists have played more than 2,000 gigs in 40 countries around the world and Rockadillo has promoted hundreds of international artists in Finland. He started in music as a rock journalist and DJ in his teens and established his first company Suomi-Pop in 1971. Today, the Rockadillo group of companies consists of Rockadillo Production Oy (management, agency, promoter), Rockadillo Records (over 200 album releases so far) and Zen Master Publishing Oy (immaterial rights).
He was a co-founder of Musiikki & Media and Finnish Music Export Office MUSEX, and has been for years a Board member or Chairman in several Finnish and international music business associations and foundations. Currently he is also a member of National Council of Music at The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike).
Rockadillo is again the local host for WOMEX Worldwide Music Expo in October in Tampere.
