Sander Mölder is a composer and music producer with classical training from the Estonian Music Academy (MA) and the University of Brighton. He has a diverse style that seamlessly blends classical, contemporary and dance music. Beginning his musical journey as a cellist, Mölder has contributed to various ensembles and musical landscapes. Notable performances include appearances at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and the Open'er Festival in Poland.
In 2011, Mölder was selected to participate in the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid, a pivotal moment that propelled his musical journey. His debut album Matches gained international attention and was featured on BBC1 shows hosted by Gilles Peterson and Mary-Anne Hobbs. Mölder's portfolio also extends to stage work. In 2014 he co-wrote an opera with Marianna Liik, which received critical acclaim and was nominated for a musical theatre award in 2015. In 2018, Mölder collaborated with composer Timo Steiner on three ballets: a modern interpretation of Yukio Mishima's The Temple of the Golden Pavilion, a ballet celebrating the legacy of Louis XIV, and a ballet honouring the Estonian chess master Paul Keres.
In addition to his work in traditional musical spaces, Mölder has made significant contributions to TV and social media campaigns. His client list includes Osaka City Council, beauty product companies such as Shiseido, DHC, and Empecure, car manufacturers Nissan and Mazda, and brands such as Uniqlo, Balmuda, Oculus Quest, Tallink/Silja Line, and LHV among many others.
