Haydn Bendall is an award-winning Producer, Mixer, and Engineer whose career began at Orange Studios in Soho before working as a piano tuner for Steinway & Sons. This role led to a remarkable seventeen-year tenure at Abbey Road Studios, where he spent the final decade as Chief Engineer, collaborating on an exceptional range of musical productions. During his time at Abbey Road, Bendall engineered or produced for an impressive array of artists, including Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, XTC, Bonnie Tyler, Tina Turner, Pet Shop Boys, Annie Lennox, Paul McCartney, and Massive Attack. He also worked with renowned classical performers such as Kiri Te Kanawa and José Carreras. His contributions to film soundtracks include The Long Good Friday and Ryuichi Sakamoto's Oscar- and Grammy-winning soundtrack for The Last Emperor. He has engineered the soundtracks for David Lynch's Twin Peaks and Terry Gilliam's Brazil, along with many others.
