Fredrik Børstad works with management, PR, and publishing with Toothfairy in Norway. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Business and has spent the past four years in various roles at the innovative independent music company. He has worked on PR for artists such as Ari Bajgora, Golfklubb, Bausa and Coucheron, as well as management for artists and songwriters like Astelle and Jay Sorrow.
Fredrik is now focusing on publishing and has, over the past few years, helped organise dozens of songwriting camps. Their roster has expanded to include young but established producers and songwriters who create music for some of Norway's biggest artists.
Last year, Toothfairy Publishing has also expanded its catalogue with international songs, including the Grammy-nominated “Automatic Yes” by John Mayer and Zedd (produced by Benjamin Giørtz), “Avalon” by Alan Walker and Anne Gudrun (written by Jonathan Floyd), and several K-pop cuts. Toothfairy Publishing's ambition is to serve as a launchpad for Norwegian songwriters aiming to break into larger international markets.
