Robyn Stewart is a 21-year music industry veteran, currently the Executive Director of Women in Music Canada. Her strongest skills are financial management, complex logistics, government relations and fund development, and partner relationship building.
Among the projects she is most proud of; Executive Director of Western Canadian Music Alliance, Celebration Sites Coordinator; Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2010, Entertainment Buyer; PanAmerican Games 2015, and her current roles above, which allowed her to support developing artists and engage in passion projects including working towards gender parity in the music industry on an international level. Robyn is incredibly driven by her work supporting artists to showcase and develop business in international markets. She holds board positions on the Polaris Music Prize (National Vice-Chair), and Canadian Live Music Association.
Robyn has a large family, including her two amazing boys, Jasper (10) and Ty (2), who are the centre of her greatest joys in life. It is because of the importance of family life that Robyn became a lived experience volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Regional Advisory.
