Rainer Ild is an anti-pop artist who stands out with his vocal effects, songwriting, and artistic live performances. On stage, he swaps between instruments, hangs from the ceiling, or finds absurd heights to jump from. After winning the national youth band contest Noortebänd, he released his debut album, Longero & Cheap Chips. Since then, he has released multiple singles and music videos, as well as a heavy second album, Akimbo, which explores themes of mental health.
Rainer Ild holds a bachelor's degree in music and has composed for film and commercials, alongside providing sound design for theatre. His groundbreaking third album, Kaoss, was released in 2025.
