Composers Martin Recker and Paul Hauptmeier have been working together as an artist duo in the fields of composition, sound and multimedia art since 2009. The duo's work spans opera, live electronic performance, radio art, electro-acoustic music and site-specific installation. They are co-founders and board members of ZiMMT - Centre for Immersive Media Art, Music and Technology in Leipzig. There they curate events and conduct research in the field of spatial audio. Since 2022 they have been teaching sound art at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art in Halle, Germany.
