Cigar-chomping Matt Bacon is a consultant, A&R man, and journalist specialising in the world of heavy metal. Matt has worked with everyone from pop icons like Boygenius and Mitski to death metal legends like Cannibal Corpse, by way of 90s masters They Might Be Giants. In 2015, he formed Dropout Media in order to better support the artists he loves. Since 2018, he has used his daily Instagram video series 'Bacon's Bits' to give bands advice in an easily digestible way. With countless tours booked, records released, and deals signed, he loves every minute of it.
