Lutz Leichsenring is a prominent figure in the global nightlife scene, widely known for his advocacy of a thriving and sustainable nightlife culture. He is currently a board member of Clubcommission Berlin, an organisation representing over 350 clubs, promoters and cultural institutions in the German capital. As co-founder of VibeLab, a consulting agency, Lutz seeks to develop innovative solutions to the challenges facing the nighttime economy worldwide. VibeLab advises and researches nightlife, publishes the cultural impact study Creative Footprint, works globally with institutions such as UN-Habitat and the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF), and developed the European Union-funded grassroots peer-to-peer learning initiative Night School. Lutz is also a board member of Berlin's Musicboard and Chamber of Commerce and an advisor to Vienna's Club Commission. In May 2023, Lutz was recognised by the Tagesspiegel as one of the "100 most important minds in Berlin's economy".
