Lotta Savolainen is a versatile music industry professional with nearly two decades of experience across the Finnish music landscape. She has worked with both major and independent labels, combining roles as a musician, publicist, agent, mentor, curator, and journalist. Her work centres on championing diversity, promoting ethical practices, and amplifying independent artists.
Today, Lotta is the CEO of Music x Media, Finland's largest music conference, and also an afternoon radio host on Radio Helsinki. She has served as a judge and curator for platforms including the Emma Gala, Indie Awards, and the Lost in Music showcase festival, where she was artistic director in 2025. Her contributions have been widely recognised: she was named Indie Co.'s "Indie Friend of the Year" in 2024 and awarded "Media Influencer of the Year" at the 2025 Industry Awards.
