Lena Ingwersen is the managing director of the Music Cities Network (MCN), a cultural manager, a DJ and part of Keychange as an Innovator. Based in Hamburg, Lena is always looking to improve structures, frameworks and accessibility in and to the creative industries on a transnational level. She is committed to enabling culture and music to thrive in diverse ways and to creating sustainable change for a future-proof music industry.
Lena works to intensify borderless cultural exchange and business opportunities through her work with MCN, a global non-profit association that fosters collaboration and innovation between all stakeholders in music city ecosystems. Launched in 2017 by the Hamburg Music Business Association and Sound Diplomacy, the network operates as an independent association with 10 global city members from Aarhus, Bergen, Berlin, Hamburg, Gothenburg, Groningen, Manchester, Reykjavik, Valencia and Sydney since early 2022.
