Based in Berlin, the multidisciplinary Estonian artist Kitty Florentine presents a hypnotic blend of music, movement, and visual storytelling. Whether in a stripped-back format with captivating vocals and a harp, a club set with her DJ, or a live experience with her band, she delivers a tumultuous performance that leaves a lasting impression.
With a decade of experience as a big band soloist from the age of eight, her roots in jazz and blues provide a strong musical foundation for a sound that now pushes into bold, contemporary territory. Her practice spans multiple art forms, coming together in a unified, unmistakable artistic world—best experienced live.
From Sziget 2024 in Budapest and a sold-out performance at New York’s Performa Biennal 2023 (with Kris Lemsalu) to a standout set at Eurosonic 2024, Kitty has sparked significant international curiosity. She has supported acts like Fever Ray and Hatari, performed at MENT Ljubljana 2024, and self-organised a sold-out solo concert in Tallinn. Recognised as Raadio 2 Debut Artist of the Year 2023, her album Maladaptive Daydream was nominated for Indie/Alternative Album of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards.
