Katariina Uusitupa (MA, Master of Music) is an accomplished event professional and the newly appointed CEO of the internationally acclaimed Flow Festival. Flow is a premium music and arts festival held in Helsinki, Finland, since 2004. Over the years, it has evolved from a small club event into a pioneering festival, attracting 90,000 visitors over three days.

Katariina’s career is closely intertwined with Flow’s evolution. She began as a volunteer and progressed through a wide range of roles over the years: from assistant to producer, production manager, and COO before being appointed CEO of one of the most praised festivals in the Nordics. Her extensive, hands-on experience has given her a deep understanding of the festival’s creative vision, production processes, and organisational culture.

Besides Flow, Katariina has worked as the Managing Director of We Jazz Festival, Helsinki's new-generation jazz festival, and has gained extensive experience over 10 years in the live music industry across diverse roles, including, as a producer at G Livelab Helsinki and the Pori Jazz Festival. She is also familiar with the startup scene, having previously served as the Executive Producer of Slush, the biggest startup event in the Nordics.
