Henrik Tala is a Helsinki-based songwriter, producer, and music entrepreneur working at the intersection of global pop and the Asian music markets. A graduate of the Clive Davis Institute at the TIsch School of the Arts, since 2017, he has been actively creating and placing music across China, Korea, and Southeast Asia, collaborating with top artists, labels, and brands.
He is the founder of Song Asia, a music rights and creative company specializing in international songwriting camps, catalog development, and cross-border licensing. Through Song Asia, Henrik has worked with global partners and contributed to over 200 licenses in Asia, while organizing more than 25 songwriting camps connecting creators from around the world.
He is also a publishing A&R at the leading music publishing company in Finland, HMC, focusing on building opportunities for HMC songwriters and producers. His work bridges Western and Asian music industries, with a strong emphasis on commercial songwriting, scalable creative processes, and global market insight.
Henrik is passionate about developing the next generation of hitmakers and frequently speaks on topics such as international collaboration, music licensing, and navigating the Asian music landscape.
