Helmi Yli-Äyhö is International Manager at Teosto, the Finnish Composers’ Copyright Society. Teosto is a Finnish copyright collecting organisation representing 43,000 music creators and publishers and managing their rights internationally through an extensive global partner network.
Helmi is responsible for Teosto’s international business area and cooperation with partners worldwide. Her work focuses on cross‑border royalty collection, international relations, and the role of collective management in a digital and global music ecosystem. A core goal of her work is to ensure efficient international royalty collection and to support the global success of Teosto members.
With a background in law, Helmi works at the intersection of copyright, data and international operations. Before joining Teosto, she worked at the neighbouring rights organisation Gramex and at Finnish business law firms.
