Girts Ozolins is the founder, visionary and CEO of Erica Synths. Girts studied at the University of Latvia from 1990 to 1994 while also working as a science teacher. He worked as an account manager in the advertising industry and as a strategy director in several agencies from 1995 to 2005 and CEO of Euro RSCG Riga (later HAVAS) from 2005 to 2015. In 2013 Girts founded Erica Synths. By combining digital technology with old-school, analogue push buttons and switches, its synths produce a unique sound. In 10 years Erica Synths has become one of the world's most recognised manufacturers of electronic music instruments. Jean Michel Jarre, Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin are among the musicians and producers who not only use Erica Synths’ instruments but also actively endorse them.
