Anne-Mari Hakamäki is the programme director of Kaustinen Folk Music Festival. Established in 1968, it is the oldest and biggest folk music and folk dance festival in the Nordic countries. Rooted in the local fiddle tradition, the festival offers both domestic and international acts with a variety of folk music and dance, workshops, improvised jam sessions and dance performances.
Anne-Mari has been working in the Finnish folk music scene for over twenty years as a musician, teacher and producer. She has graduated from the Sibelius Academy with a Master's in Folk Music
