Föreningen Grunden Göteborg

Wispen Sjöblom is a songwriter, singer, and recording artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has been blind since birth and is autistic, experiences that strongly shape her artistic work and her perspective on accessibility, participation, and inclusion in culture and society. As a musician, Wispen has released several records of original music, performed extensively as lead singer with Grunden Band, sung backing vocals for the Johan Palmborg Band, and appeared at festivals and live events across Sweden. She has also won music competitions as both a songwriter and performer.

In addition to her music career, Wispen is the creator and host of the podcast "One Lap in My Shoes" (Ett varv i mina skor), in which guests experience a restaurant visit entirely without sight — eating a full meal blindfolded while exploring questions of food, perception, and what happens when we lose the sense that accounts for around 80 per cent of our sensory input.

In the summer of 2025, Wispen fulfilled a long-held dream of interrailing across Europe, travelling for two weeks by train through several countries with friends. She is invited to Tallinn Music Week to participate in panel discussions on accessibility within the music industry, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to the conversation.
