Whether it’s project management, booking, business development, or public relations, Sima wears many hats. For the past six years, she has worked with Slam Disques and Hell For Breakfast, where she is responsible for business development and A&R, while also serving as the official representative for the labels and their affiliated companies (Bandpromo, Les Films 37 Superkicks, and Metallicars). A familiar face at countless events, Sima is often the go-to person for any questions regarding artists, projects, or potential collaborations.
Her industry experience stems both from her many years working with various Montréal festivals and from her passion for discovering new musical talent. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Concordia University and is currently pursuing a master’s in cultural enterprise management at HEC Montréal.
Deeply involved in her community, she sits on the board of directors of CISM (college radio) and APEM (publisher association), and contributes to Montréal’s Nightlife Roundtable, where she helps shape new noise regulation policies for the city.
