Nick Triani possesses over 40 years of experience in the music industry, beginning his career at 17 with his first publishing deal in the UK independent scene. Since relocating to Finland in 1998, he has established himself as a prolific record producer, working on over 60 albums in his first decade there.
His career later shifted towards A&R, first at the legendary Finnish label Johanna Kustannus, before he founded his own independent label, Soliti, in 2011. With over 100 releases to its name, Soliti now operates as a sub-label of Playground Music, where Nick has served for nearly a decade.
In addition to his A&R work, Nick is the International Label Manager for Playground Music Finland, representing powerhouse independent labels such as XL, Domino, Sub Pop, and Dead Oceans. A versatile figure in the Helsinki scene, he also spent 16 years as a DJ at Radio Helsinki and continues to release his own music sporadically.
