Ellen Benediktson is a Swedish artist and songwriter creating "grungy pop" defined by hooky melodies and clever lyrics. Inspired by strong voices and bold personalities like Lady Gaga, Hayley Williams, and Miley Cyrus, Ellen’s work prioritises vocal power and artistic grit.
She first gained national attention at just 18 after her debut in Melodifestivalen, where her song Songbird went directly to the final. While she has since returned to the competition multiple times, she has spent the following years steadily developing an independent artistic identity beyond the TV format.
Alongside her solo career, Ellen is an active songwriter, collaborating with artists across Sweden and Europe. In 2025, she released her debut EP, Good Girl, followed by the single WID4L this year. Her upcoming second EP, also titled WID4L, will be released in collaboration with the label Icons Creating Evil Art in May 2026.
