Where do music education and the music industry meet — and how can we build stronger connections between them? This two-hour workshop invites you to that meeting point, where real experiences and needs come together.
Together with participants, we will map the current state of collaboration between music education and the music industry, identify key barriers, and explore the most important untapped opportunities — then co-create practical proposals to bring these two fields closer in meaningful ways. We welcome everyone with experience, questions, or simply a feeling that things could be better —from both the music education and music business sides. The workshop is interactive, participants' input will shape its content, and this is where ideas can grow into new forms of collaboration and initiative.
Places are limited and pre-registration is required, please fill in this questionnaire until 2 April.
The music education programme will continue with the panel discussion Beyond the Stage: Designing Concert Experiences With Young Audiences, exploring how to design meaningful concert experiences for young audiences.
The workshop is organised in collaboration with Tallinn University.
