Jamie Ford

Jamie started his music journey as an artist before graduating Music Promotion in 2014 with honours. After simultaneously interning at Wichita Recordings, a music startup and The Joiners in his senior year, Jamie joined Southampton’s newest music venue - The 1865. He quickly developed from Promotions Assistant to Marketing, Promotions & Booking Manager after embedding the venue into the UK’s national touring circuit. Working with artists such as DMA’s, Circa Waves, Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris, The Story So Far, Levellers, Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule / Allman Brothers Band) and many more.

Jamie later started his own live promotions company and record label, recently working with artists such as Fontaines DC, black midi, Shame, Fat White Family, Aldous Harding, Stella Donnelly, Sports Team, Alex Cameron and Gus Dapperton. Additionally, Jamie is an artist manager with music industry experience across digital, publishing, tour management, artist development and studio projects.

Jamie has led international artist campaigns and consulted on marketing projects for the legendary Isle of Wight Festival. In 2019, Jamie secured a sync on BBC’s international hit series Peaky Blinders for one of his artists.
