Ieva Irbina has 20 years of experience in the creative & entertainment industries. Currently she is co-chairperson of the Latvian Music Industry's Council to Minister of Culture, and also chairperson of the board at Hanzas Perons, handling operational and strategic management and supervision of programming of the arts and culture space Hanzas Perons, which opened in August 2019. Irbina has also been managing director of the Positivus Festival 2011-2018, dealing with overall management of the festival, including artist booking, hospitality, ticketing, staffing, production, advertising & pr and sponsorship. Under her leadership the audience of the festival grew from 10 000 to over 30 000 over the years, making Positivus the biggest and longest running festival in the Baltic states. Irbina holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in social anthropology, both from Riga Stradins University.
