Eva Saar is a producer and the head of marketing for the festival Jazzkaar. She has worked in marketing and event organisation for almost 15 years. Eva is a member of the board at the Estonian music export and development office Music Estonia and a visiting lecturer at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy. In addition to Jazzkaar, she has been active in marketing for projects such as Tallinn European Capital of Culture 2011, the Tallinn Architecture Biennial, and the charity concert "Songs for the soldier" ("Laulud sõdurile"). She has produced several large-scale events, such as the opening ceremony for Tallinn's tenure as the European Capital of Culture, the Tallinn Maritime Days, and the opening of the PROTO Invention Factory. She graduated with a degree in economics from the Tallinn Technical University and also studied marketing and management at the Dresden University of Technology in Germany.
