Anneli Ott is the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia. Previously, she held the office of Minister of Public Administration and from 2019 to 2020 she was a Member of Parlament, where she also chaired the European Union Affairs Committee. Her past positions have included the Deputy City District Elder, chair of the Võru City Council, head of the Võru County Partnership Council, and the Deputy Rural Municipality Mayor of Lasva. Anneli Ott graduated from the University of Tartu in 1999 with a degree in sport sciences and physiotherapy, and in 2000 she received a degree in pedagogy. She is the mother of two children.
